Tocotrienols for your hair?

Many people do not realise how important tocotrienols are and that they should be a part of your daily supplement regime. These are part of the Vitamin E family and they should be taken in conjunction with your 'normal' Vitamin E. Remember that not all Vitamin E is the same. Much of the Vitamin E on the market is synthetic with questionable benefits.

Tocotrienols are much more potent than Vitamin E but they are still not widely used in supplements because they are much more expensive than Vitamin E. We used both the natural form of Vitamin E in Total Balance along with the recommended dose of Tocotrienols.

The reason why I mention Tocotrienols at the moment is because yesterdays posting referred to hair loss. Carotech who produce Tocomin which is the Tocotrienols that we use in Total Balance have just secured a patent for their Tocomin based on the benefits that it can give to your hair. Warren,

I just read something interesting. I remember a newsletter piece you did a number of years ago, and a few more recent ones on the subject of the dangers of Mercury used in Amalgam fillings. For years The US FDA and ADA have stead-fastly stood by their position that they were safe for the general public.

Recently, the FDA has changed their posture and released a statement, as part of a class action suit, that esentially states that the mercury in amalgam may pose risks to young children and pregnant women.

I still don't think they have gone far enough. There should be an all out ban on Amalgam fillings, not just warnings to young mothers and children. That will probably take another 10 years. Its unfortuneate that the FDA had to be sued to disclose the dangers to the public.

Regards,

Pete
