Question: from David
How come Cardio-Klenz does not contain garlic, which has been proven many times to be beneficial to heart health?
Answer: from Warren
Garlic is a great nutrient and should be incorporated into your diet as much as possible. The problem is that it is not particularly effective as a supplement because of the processing it has to go through to create a powder for use in supplements which usually includes deodorizing. This makes it lose some of its potency.
Because of this the supplement form is quite weak which in turn requires it to be taken in large doses when in a supplement if it is to be effective.
mg for mg there are many more potent and heart beneficial nutrients suitable in a supplement than garlic. We could have included it in our Cardio-Klenz OK and it would have cost us a lot less as the garlic extracts are inexpensive but we would have had to leave out other important nutrients or else increase the daily dose substantially.
My suggestion is to try and incorporate a clove or two of fresh garlic every day into your general diet.

I get your point!
As i cant stand the idea of eating garlic, would it be ok to take a larger dose of garlic in a supplement form from my local drug store?

I know someone who has suffered congestive heart failure
would they benefit from Cardio-Klenz
The person also takes Lasix and Aldactone to remove the fluids in the system that heart muscles cannot do naturally and Lopressor for the blood presure?
Thanks for your time Warren!

Hi David,
If it contains only garlic you could take as much as you like with no problem. :)

Absolutely Alex...
Anyone who has any heart or circulation issues can benefit from the Cardio-Klenz. If they decide to try it please have them email Joanna at jo@xtend-life.com to check for compatability with the drugs before making a purchase.

My Doc just took me off Levostatin (40) after almost 2 years. While it reduced by total cholesterol from 248 to 215 (hdl 100) it had given me extreme muscle pains/spasms in my back and legs for many months - I did not conenct the pain to the drug intake. Now I take nothing and my pain is gone.
But now I worry about the cholesterol shooting up. I don't eat fatty foods and I am not fat. I think it's a genetic factor, my dad had the same condition. My choleterol measured 260 when I was 25 and I am now 63. Advice please?

Hi Ingrid,
If your HDL is 100 I don't believe you have anything to be concerned about provided that your triglycerides are OK. As you say you probably have genetically high cholesterol and there is nothing wrong with that.
Unfortunately to many Doctors ignore that factor just as they ignore the fact that the risk with higher cholesterol is quite low so long as the other markers such as high triglycerides, C-Reactive Protein and homocysteine are not excessive.
There is no doubt that your cholesterol will now spike up. If you wish to minimize the impact of this I would suggest that you take our Cholest-Natural for a couple of months and then switch to either our Cardio-Klenz for another 6 months and/or our Total Balance on an ongoing basic.
Both the Cardio-Klenz and the Total Balance have natural cholesterol lowering properties although the Cholest-Natural is the most potent for this purpose.

I have a suggestion to take garlic, crush the clove and drink it with milk or juice and you won't taste it. Works for my uncle :)
