Will Chiro-zyme VSCLR help keep my arteries open?
Question: from Al
My Chiropractor has put me on Chiro-zyme VSCLR. This product is distributed by enzzzyme Formulations,Inc, wwwenzymeformulations.com. I had 3 stents in June '07, 90-95-85% blockage. This VSCLR enzyme is suppose to help keep the arteries open. Any comments?
Answer: from Warren
I had a look at enzymeformulations.com.
I am not sure why your Chiropractor would be recommending the VSCLR formula. These are primarily digestive enzymes. In order to help clear your arteries you need enzymes such as Nattokinase and Serrapeptidase.
These need to be combined with selected amino acids and specialty herbal extracts and other natural supplements which can work together to help spring-clean your arteries and strengthen your entire cardiovascular system.
The product that you referred to comes way short of achieving those objectives. I don't know how much it costs as the website does not reveal that, but they are inexpensive formulas.
In all honesty their formulas are quite archaic and very basic. If I had a stent I would be using our Cardio-Klenz formula to minimize the risks of having another blockage. Check out the formula and ingredients by clicking here. They are all present in optimal amounts.

How come Cardio-Klenz does not contain garlic, which has been proven many times to be benefical to heart health?
Thanks!

Hi David,
That's a valid question so I am going to post that as a new question. This is what I will say.
Hi David,
Garlic is a great nutrient and should be incorporated into your diet as much as possible. The problem is that it is not particularly effective as a supplement because of the processing it has to go through to create a powder for use in supplements which usually includes de-odorizing.
This makes it quite weak which in turn requires it to be taken in large doses when in a supplement if it is to be effective.
mg for mg there are many more potent and heart beneficial nutrients suitable in a supplement than garlic. We could have included it OK and it would have cost us a lot less as the garlic extracts are inexpensive but we would have had to leave out other important nutrients or else increase the daily dose substantially.
My suggestion is to try and incorporate a clove or two of fresh garlic every day into your general diet.
