Question: from Alena
With the previous version of Total Balance Women's Plus I was taking a 'break' of 2 weeks every six months. Does the same principle apply for the new Premium version of Total Balance Women's which I am now on? Why is it really necessary to take this break.
Answer: from Warren
Yes, continue to take the 2 week break with the new Premium version every 6 months. Those customers who are taking the new 'standard' version of Total Balance only need to take the break once a year.
Why do you need to do this?
Well you don't really need to do it but we believe it is a good idea if you do.
If you take a supplement continuously the body will start to get used to it and as time goes on higher doses of nutrients will be needed to get the same effect. By giving it a 2 week break on a periodic basis it helps prevent the body from becoming lazy. In other words it is a little like giving the body a message that it cannot rely on these additional good nutrients and must remain as efficient as possible and not get complacent. When the supplements resume it should use the nutrients more efficiently.
The same principle can be observed in drugs, and for that matter alcohol. If someone takes them continuously and never has a break from them they will require continually higher quantities to get the same effect. We don't want that to be the case with our supplements. We want maximum efficacy and benefits at the lowest possible dose.
