Neurological Problems...

Question: from Chris

I wonder if you have had any feedback concerning the Neuro Natural series and Multiple Sclerosis.

Although my partner shows multiple scarring in both the brain and the spinal cord, we have pushed the MD's and also confirmed that she is suffering from VasoVegal syndrome and Fibromyalgia.

From past trials, we have found that SAMe has a very strong positive result in stabilising her moods/emotions.

One of her major difficulties is getting sufficient sleep as she is continually being woken with bladder incontinence. The other major issues surround visual disturbances, balance and severe neuropathic pain coming from her legs. She is also very sensitive to small changes in hot/cold, although acupuncture will balance this, it doesn't "hold".

Blood Clots in Veins double the risk of Heart Attack or Stroke!

Physicians have always believed that blood clots in the veins were rarely fatal unless they moved to other parts of the body. For example, deep vein thrombosis is rarely fatal unless the blood clot moves through the body to the lungs causing a pulmonary embolism.

However, a large Danish study has established that blood clots in the veins can indeed cause heart attacks and strokes and that the clots do not have to be in the arteries as previously thought.

The bottom line, is that this just reinforces the need to keep your blood and circulation system in good order and avoid the formation of blood clots anywhere in the body.

Big Brother State getting tough with Innocent Children and Parents...

In an amazing turn of events the Attorney General of Maryland issued summons to more than 1600 parents of children who have not been immunized by vaccines.

If these parents do not submit their children to on the spot vaccinations (which will involve a cocktail of 17 vaccines, hopefully not all administered at the same time) they will be subject to a $50 per day fine for each day the vaccination is delayed...or, 10 days in jail.

This is pretty heavy handed and shocking stuff and brings the entire question of 'freedom' into focus.

Options for Wrinkles?

Question: from Pam

Could you tell me is there a tablet you can take which has hyaluronic acid in it? I have read where it is really good for the skin. A lot of cosmetic surgeries are using it as a wrinkle filler (juverderm). Would this be safe to take or have it injected into your skin. (Certainly does wonders for the wrinkles...so the pictures say!!)

Answer: from Warren

There are various tablets on the market that contain hyaluronic acid. It is a cheap ingredient so they should not be expensive. I have reservations about their efficacy though and as such we don’t produce them or recommend them. I don’t see any problems related to using it as a topical option though.

Don’t underrate the importance of using a good general anti-oxidant multi-nutrient supplement as a protection against wrinkles. This is much more important for the skin than what most people realize. If you are having an adequate intake of essential nutrients it helps the body’s mechanism for breaking down old skin and renewing it.

A Meeting with Prof. Dr. A Munem

My friend and Chief Researcher, formulator for Xtend-Life, Prof. Dr. A Munem Daoud is certainly a remarkable man. However, my meetings with him can be quite frustrating because he has so much to share and I can only absorb and act on so much. My last full day with him was last Thursday where we discussed some new enhancements we are working on.

It would be great to have a ‘magic wand’ which I could wave and ‘presto’ we have a new product which will achieve this or that objective. I would love to develop all the formulas which Munem conceives but that would be impractical to attempt. He loves working on solutions for health problem by developing special formulas. The more complex and difficult the problem, the better!

Some Positive news for Health Freedom...

The European Court of Justice has just found in favor of the ‘European Communities’ who took Germany to task over the classification of Garlic supplement capsules.

In brief, Germany was classing these as a medicinal product and prohibiting the importation of them from other EU countries where they are considered a food supplement. Part of Germany’s argument was the fact that they are in capsules.

However, the Court of Justice made it plain that just because they are in capsules does not make them a medicine, particularly if their purpose is to promote good general health. This is good news because many ‘authorities’ are trying to use the ‘form’ of nutritional supplements (in capsules or tablets) to support their argument that they are medicines and therefore should be regulated like drugs.

Allergic to Supplements containing Sulfur?

Question: from Teresita

Do you have a product such as your Arthrit-Eze that does not contain sulphur? I can't handle sulfur and when I saw it included as one of your ingredients, my heart sank. I was ready to purchase it.

Answer: from Joanna (Medical Nutritionist for XtendLife)

I understand your concern. However, generally when people who say they are allergic to sulphur it is because they have experienced an adverse effect from a sulfa-containing antibiotic, or similar medicine. Has this been your experience?

Experiences of sulfur allergies commonly cause confusion, as many people wrongly assume that they will be allergic to multiple sulfur-containing medicines, sulfite preservatives, or sulfates in supplements. This is not the case.

It is important to know that sulfur is a building block of life,
