Isolase


Isolase is an enzyme system (proprietary information with National Enzyme Company) that enhances the absorption of plant polyphenols including (soy) Isoflavones.  In Total Balance it is part of our digestive enzyme blend. Isolase will help increase the bioavailability of genistein, an isoflavone.  Isoflavones such as genistein have numerous beneficial properties to health. Some people do not produce the enzyme necessary to break down isoflavones, so they cannot receive the benefits from isoflavones. Isolase makes them (more) bioavailable. Isolase works throughout the entire gastrointestinal tract.

IsolasePRO has the added benefit of breaking down soy protein and making amino acids more available. It thus prevents bloating and gas. IsolasePRO is a combination of Isolase and a blend of fungal proteases specifically designed to digest soy protein.
